The wording on the faq for servoskulls is weird.

Q: Does an enemy unit arriving by deep strike or
deploying within 6" of a servo-skull count as moving
to within 6" of it? (p62)
A: Yes, remove the servo-skull from play.

It really sounds like the vehicle counts as moving when deployed. Doesn't it?
Now this won't have to much impact on most rules, but what if you deploy a vehicle in difficult terrain?

Does it then have to take a dangerous terrain test during deployment?

page 57 of the brb has the relevant vehicle movement rules.

No. You're reading into it way, way too much.

If an enemy is within 6" of a servo-skull, whether by movement or deployment, the servo-skull goes away. Simple as that.

Exactly, it is to stop things from deploying within 6" of them and the controlling player saying, no they do destruct as you didn't move within 6" you deployed and the rules specifically state moving therefore they are still hovering about
