I've always bought my new models in my local GW, to support them. I buy second hand and bits online, but have got all my new kits from an actual store. But recently I decided to buy something online, give it a ago. Those massive discounts are mighty tempting... And I've had such good experiences with the ebay bits sellers (especially the-bitz-store, they're shockingly speedy).

Gosh I'm regretting it. It's over a week later, my order is still saying "Awaiting Stock" and their contact form is covered in messages saying "Please don't contact us to ask us where your model is". But I want my model - I've got conversions planned, and spare time this weekend that I won't have for several more weeks. But I can't do anything, as I'm still waiting for a key part.

Sigh. Not impressed. Certainly won't be using them again.

Anyone recommend any other UK online suppliers?

I agree that they are kinda slow: Im waiting for an army to arrive right now... took almost a week for them to ship....

Im not that concerned though: Ive made a big order for a whole army that I dont need at any particular time so Im good.

If I need just a few things to paint up I think Ill be getting them from my local store or somesuch.

Wayland are busy moving into a new warehouse (or supervising its preparation or both), so things do seem to running slow at the moment.

There is always Maelstrom Games.

They did reply to my complaint nice and quickly, giving me a refund. So their customer service is good, and I will get to convert this weekend! Happy now :)

Pity their speed isn't so good, although as eldargal said that may be just a temporary thing.
