Defiance Games just released it's USMC figures. I'm not a fan - the helmets are goofy as all hell. However, its Germans are a whole other matter. It hasn't released these yet, but has put up these previews:

Ehhh, too "techie" for me. Their armor looks well designed and advanced and they look altogether too futuristic.

I still prefer my Guardsmen with a greatcoat or flak vest.

This. Though I think they would make great vets for an 'elite' Guard army, like an Elyssian/air cav sort of deal.

I'm a Killzone fan, so I got the wargames factory shock troops. They look almost exactly like the Helghast. I use them for veterans.

The best stormtrooper proxies I've seen are pig iron system troopers.
