Tau Markers

I saw these on Ebay. They look pretty sweet. Is there anyone out there that's used them?

Apparently the guy makes the whole 40k range, so I wanted to know if anyone out there has used these and had any thoughts.

Those are cool. But I would need multiple sets - I'm kitbashing some piranhas into tetras, and they mount a Heavy markerlight (heavy 4) each...

I love tetras... I dremelled the wings off of all of my piranhas and magnetized them so I can have a choice, but yeah, tetras blow pathfinder squads out of the water.

Yeah I was thinking about getting a set or two. The price seems reasonable for what you get. I might email him and see what he charges for some marker tokens al a carte.

Eh... why bother? You can download a set of really cute markers from Advanced Tau Tactica. They have cute graphics, print out, and glue perfectly onto small non-slotted round bases. I mean, these are ok, but not worth paying for, IMHO.

I have several sets from these guys (Necrons and a few others), and the quality is awesome. I like that they're metal and very durable, because I just chunk them in a box after every game. Plus the price is pretty reasonable, considering the prices of other markers out there.

This is why bro!! I've seen these from another player and LOVED them but wasx playing Warm/Hordes at the time. These are heavy....and like Krig said....you can just toss them. I paid $4.30 for them cuz of my ebay bucks....so well worth it for me!

ive been really tempted for the dark eldar pain tokens now i know the quality is decent its just become even harder to resist

one cool and nerdy thing about these that I like about them - they're magnetic. all of my vehicles have magnets for the sponsons and main turret guns, and when they get blasted off, the markers snap right onto the vehicle (the vehicle markers are really nice btw). I know I know, cheesy, but cool nonetheless.

every time I go back to the store there are more sets up. now I noticed there are Orks markers up. Waaagh yeah!

You ought to try out http://www.gdesignsinc.com/ they sell 5",3" blast and flamer templates with tau script on them with the tau symbol too. Come in a variety of colors. You can get them direct from them and also blue table painting sells them, speak to Shawn. I picked up a set along with a dozen markerlight tokens about a year ago. You should check them out.

Meh...

I like the terrain packages (although I'm not willing to rob a bank to get one). Didn't see any Tau markers, but I typically use the geo-data markers that mircoart used to put out.

I'm gonna get a set of battle markers from this guy. The markerlights are swigedy sweet.

I agree his terrain is beyond expensive, he doesn't show the tau blast templates I was talking about on his site but you can see them on this youtube link

go to 5:45-6:05 minute mark and you get a good shot of them. 5:45 shows the marker tokens and 6:00 show the 5" blast template.

You can have my wound and Ymgarl Genestealer markers for free, (http://40kaddict.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/nids-part-28-ymgarls-and-freebie-free.html) you just have to DiY - print them, stick them to card and cut them up.

I got the markers... They are awesome. Period. There is no way these things are breaking, and work well with my magnetized vehix (which is all of them). I say ok!

Same here...turn around was super fast!! What they are, you know those little button you can buy with crap on them??? He or she took them with the design and made them into the buttons without the pin basically.....very high quality and AWESOME!
