Doing some late night Bols article searching when I stumbled upon plastic dudesman #6. The thread was funny from the beginning but reached its climax when eldargal dropped a burn on a now removed poster, and the thread just took off. I enjoyed it very much so. Being new here, I was wondering what are some of your favorite fights, jokes, discussions on threads for particular articles that I could look up for a good chuckle.

I don't remember that, glad you enjoyed it though.:) One of my favourite moments was when someone recently said it was bad and annoying that I would back down if I was wrong, or explain my position of someone misinterpreted it and otherwise acted like an intelligent, rational being. I suppose I'm supposed to accept no other opinion but my own and sdefend whatever I say even if it turns out to be wrong. Then when I pointed this out he claimed it proved his point that I back down when confronted or something.

Oh, then there was the person who days before the official unveiling of the new Dark Eldar range said he had it absolutely confirmed that DE weren't coming and were due to be squatted. Then the next day the Incubus picture was leaked and a few days later was Games Day.

I remember that Dark Eldar post, humorous to say the least. I enjoy many of the topics and debates that don't degenerate into ugly banter.
I don't know about a favourite thread but a memorable one for me was the Necron / Eldar based on ancient Egypt debate. Not just for the content but because no one resorted to post bashing. It was fun in a nice way.

Surely this is a pointless argument as you are never wrong :p

I love it when one person twists a Star Wars quote to respond to an article, then other people pile on. Such fun!

Well there is that, but sometimes I have to explain my position more clearly or point out I was joking or some such thing. Apparently trying to engage in an actual discussion is frowned upon.;)

My favorite recent thread was for the Black Library spoilers. It sorted out who did well on the Reading Comprehension portion of standardized tests and who didn't. If you need to know which one, BOOM!, and now you know.

Of course it is, the internet is for ill-informed opinion, trolling and raging only. Oh, and porn.
