Personally I think the Storm Raven is one of the most fugle vehicles GW made. The stub end just doesn't make sense, while I don't use third party bits I would use those bits out there to flesh out a Storm Raven and actually make it look "normal". That being said I'm thinking one and most likely two of these models this summer!

i still think it could be a FAKE the different shads in the plastic looks like multiple plastics, and if that's the case it could easily be a scratch built mode.

I like the models. The rules suck *** though IMO. More expensive than the SR but can't haul around a Dreadnought. Yeah so it can carry 10 terminators... its still a AV12 fast skimmer. Long Fang Food.

I think it looks great, and I'm going to get one just so my vanilla Marines have a flyer...
But I agree that the rules aren't great. Namely due to the cost. It's -really- expensive for an AV12 flyer which is huge and likely to get shot down in flames really fast.

But I still want one.

It was on forge worlds website, said to be a "limited RUN sold at the event", this means there was a limited quantity of them for sale, not that it would a limited edition model.

I guess this mistake is why people are bidding so damn much for the model thinking there wont be any more available anywhere.

I'm not sure its misfortune on part of the buyer. They're paying a premium for a model that, at the time of purchase, is not available to the general public via the normal avenues of FW model distribution.

I suppose it depends if the person thinks it worth paying one hundred and twenty pounds to get something a few weeks early. I was pretty keen to get the Tantalus but I still wasn't going to pay one hundred and fifty pounds for one just to get it early.
