Welcome, BoLS Forumers?, err . . . forum-goers?, (who attends forums?) . . . senators!

So, I've been ghosting on BoLS for some time, and decided with the contest and all to jump in. I'm a complete noobosaurus at miniatures games -- I received parts for a Deathwatch Kill Team as a Christmas present, and am inching my way towards modelling them (three kids makes for slow progress). Somewhere in the distance I've got plans for a Coteaz-based, Space Hulk strike force anchored by the aforementioned Kill Team. Of course, a new Marines codex could change my plans dramatically.

I'll be glad to have them finished. I've got to say, fumbling through the process on my first squad has been humbling, since I fancy myself a bit of an artiste. Having to check out tutorials on removing flashing and such, prepping surfaces -- the whole nine yards has been a learning experience.
