I was putting together a bunch of old school Tyranid models last night and have a crazy time with them. I've settled on the glue, green stuff joint socket or seam, apply glue to outer gs and attach appendage. Even this is a pain, but at the moment seems the best option.

What is everyone else is doing? Is there a better way?

For most of the metal figures I've worked with, the green stuff + super glue method has worked fine. But every now and then pinning is required. I used to shy away from it, but once you have the right tools (pin vice, small drill bits, etc) the process goes a lot faster than you think. And you never have to worry about parts falling off again which is great.

Definitely pinning is a must. It's not really difficult at all once you get used to it, and it makes such a huge difference.

superglue first then strengthen with green stuff.
