So I play Blood Angels and have a question about the Sergeant with a powerfist and a priest in the squad. So the priest grants furious charge which is +1 initiative and +1 Strength. So does that mean my Sergeant on the assault goes at Initiative 2 and Strength 9?

This question used to be super cut and dried, but thanks to some idiot working on the Necrons faq it is now difficult to determine. Unfortunately it is now uncertain.

No, it's still clear. The Necron FAQ, which being an FAQ is a soft document anyways, only applies to the specific case of whip coils, not to the order of stat modifiers in general. Thus, follow the rules in the BRB, which are perfectly clear that a fist strikes at I1 and S9 when combined with furious charge.

I agree with DarkLink.
BRB pg. 42 Power fists

...are always delivered a Initiative 1 (ignore Initiative bonuses from special rules, wargear, etc.)(And a good example of specific>general )

The Necron FAQ is in regard to another type of wargear that, unlike Power fists, may be modified and is really speaking to the timing of it's effects.

and Pg.7 Mulitiple Modifiers for the final St.

Yup, and the same rule applies to Thunder Hammers as well in this case.
