This is it folks. Lets see those first examples of your exploits with the brush! I know Ive posted this in the 40K side of things but really anything goes.

The second miniature I ever painted but first one I painted myself. Abaddon The Despoiler.

Yes, that is an alien from Aliens bursting from the skulls, cause I thought it would be cool and didnt have any Nids! Shiney rocks are cool too!

No worries, looks like everyone else is too shy to share! (or possibly they no longer have their first painted miniature?)

My very 1st is long gone, but I did keep one of my 1st from around that era. This is the very 1st Ork that I had painted.

Challange accepted! ;) I actually found one of the first batch, but it's not my very first mini per se, more like days within it. So, here's one of the kind people are actually wait for to have a good laugh.

Back when the world was young and I was younger, I painted some 1/72nd plastic Romans. I didnt undercoat them and used enamel paints. All the paint flaked off within 2 days.............

Happy times! lol

Aww man- I wish I had some of my old minis- they were the TSR brand for AD&D from around 1986. I remember my first (and probably last) marine was around 89. I didn't even know it was called a space marine. I went into the shop and asked the guy if he had any armored humans from space or something like that. He mentioned Warhammer 40,000 and I was like forty-what?

Then I discovered Genestealers and it was all over- I was a fanatic.

Here is my first "GW" mini. Painted approximately 20 years ago or so. I won't count the very old D&D minis I painted in Junior high. I no longer have any of those. It wasn't till after high school that I discovered the awesomeness of warhammer/40k. It's refreshing to see all of those old plastic hero quest figures and such. I have those too. :)
