Hello everybody,

Long time lurker. Been playing 40K for a few years now off and on and noticed that more recently people at different websites kept talking about having a few combo deals for various armies (Tactical Marines plus Drop Pod, IG plus Chimera, Orks plus Trukk, etc). However try as I might, I haven't been able to find any American site that is advertising or offering that deal up.

Is the combo being offered only through GW stores? Through specific hobby stores? Only in non-US areas?

I guess any help pointing me in the right direction would be extremely useful. Thanks!

It should be available anywhere GW products can be bought, although I don't know how commonly it will be stocked, so you may have to ask the store to order it for you. But it isn't a "special offer" product or something that needs to be specially ordered, so it shouldn't be hard to get.

Each independent retailer was offered this item in th US, but it is a very limited run. We only got one of each and are not able to restock due to it being out of stock already, 2 weeks later.

Yeah, these are a limited-run item. If I were you, I would eat noodles for a month, and buy as many as you want/need for the foreseeable future, because these sets come round about once per year.

Look around on ebay. There are many dealers offering "This Unit + That Transport" deals that are at exceptional savings over retail. They may not come with a box but they are usually complete with all the sprues, instructions and transfers. I make a lot of purchases from ebay dealers and have never been disappointed with the products or the prices.

Ah okay, thanks for all the help. I was curious about where they would show up since I hadn't seen them at any local gamestores and all. They're pretty good deals all things considered but definitely have the chance to get random cheap units elsewhere be it online, ebay, or even though resale I guess.

It is kinda stupid that they do such a limited run though, thats for sure. I know plenty of people that only buy at the hobby stores (and rightfully so, gotta support places we play at after all) and this would've been great deals for a lot of the newer players getting into the hobby.
