Ok, so I think this forum is best for this, but if you reckon I should post it in the 40K painting and modelling forum do let me know. Hopefully even if it isn't, you guys will be interested enough in the project to let it stay!
So, this is my converted Escher gang:

I don't profess to being an amazing painter, but I did enter these into the 2011 40K Squad Golden Demon. So, breakdown of the conversions:
The torsos are the new plastic daemonettes (and yes, I did have to sculpt a left breast on all of them)
The legs are Cadian or Catachan Guardsmen
Arms are Dark Eldar Wyches, with lasguns from the Cadian kits. The only exception is the one on the far left, her knife is from an old metal Daemonettes.
The heads are either Wych or new Daemonette heads.
My painting techniques are pretty simple, I just drybrush and then wash all the areas continually until I'm happy with the basic tones. I then start painting details. The faces were done with reference to the painting guide in White Dwarf to do with painting faces (don't ask me which!). I used internet reference for the purple camo trousers and the tartan pattern skirts.
I'll leave it there for now, but I do have photos of the models individually and from other angles, so if you want more, ask and you shall get :) But I'll leave you with one more shot of the whole group:
