So the finecast hellcannon is on advanced order, and it now comes with a 100x150mm base (arachnoch etc base). I was going to order one for my existing cannon so I could mount it, but found that those are not available on the GW online store! Does anyone know how I can get one of those separately?

You might be able to call them up and order one, but you could also attach three chariot bases together and call it good. Just Greenstuff up the middle and smooth it down, pretty easy to do.

I like dealing with Hoard o Bits, they're fast and quite easy to deal with in the exceedingly rare case of mistakes (at least their Ebay store is).

I paid $60 for my hellcannon, and GW didn't give me a base when it was metal. I say don't bother.

I don't think warmachines really require a base, and dear gods did they give the Hellcannon a huge one. I'd say avoid it, or just put it on a 50x50.

the only problem with this is if it gets into combat and your opponent cries foul, which if its just a friendly game who cares, but in a tourney could cause problems.

Well, if you have access to tools, I would get me some mdf and cut one out, you could also do with with plasticard I guess.
