Kustom Ork Mega Dred

Got bored this weekend. Had a spare Grey Knight Dreadknight. Decided to make a Mega Dred. Didn't want the typical "Ork where the Grey Knight should be" conversion. Came up with this instead. Build time eight hours. Painting time four hours. Idea is that my Big Mek saw a Warlord Titan and thought "I want one of those!".

Deffinitely one of the best dreadknight convertions i've seen. Great job all round, on both the conversion and the paintjob... I may have to steal this idea when I get round to my orky dred mob!

That is a sweet conversion and paint job! Ditto on the rust. How did you do it? Weathering powder or Wash?

Tin Bitz basecoat. Heavy drybrush of boltgun metal. MiG pigments "Old Rust" pigment mixed with MiG Pigment Fixer over the top as a wash. Tactical stippling of Boltgun Metal everywhere, followed by application of Forge World Orange Rust pigment where needed.

Surpisingly easy to do.
