Hey all,

I started playing Warhammer 40,000 back in 2nd edition, and stopped playing sometime in the early 2000's as college and now graduate school have gotten in the way. I've been wanting to get back into it, though, and so I've been reading up and am planning on reclaiming my miniatures from my parent's basement.

I started with Space Wolves, and they're still my primary army. I have some Ulthwe Eldar that I was branching out into, as well as a few Necrons and Tyranids. I mostly painted and converted models, but I played some with friends.

I guess my main concern, as I read the various sites including BoLS, are rumors that GW isn't doing so well (except for their licenses for video games). I'm also not sure what to make of the current strategies I see for Space Wolves, i.e. las/plas Razorback spam or maybe Wolfstar. If I play at a local level and not in competitive national tournaments, how would a more regular army build fare?

Thanks!
