Hiya, this list came about because I got a few second hand models and am very slowly re-basing and painting my entire Eldar army, I'm making a forlorn attempt to build more stuff too. Anyway with a bit of painting and basing in mind I came up with this all foot list. I'm not expecting anything from the army as its definitely a "One of everything" type of list, but as a great incentive to paint a bunch of different models in my new cohesive scheme, I can't wait!

Eldrad (Needs to be repainted/based)
Avatar (Rebase)
8x Striking Scorps, Exarch, Claw, Stalker (only base coated)
10x Howling Banshees, Exarch, Executioner (Done!)
5x Fire Dragons, Exarch, Firepike, Tank hunters, Crackshot (Done!)
5x Ranger Pathfinders (Rebase)
19x Guardian defenders, Star cannon, Warlock, Singing Spear, Conceal (Rebase)
10x Storm Guardians 2x Flamer, Warlock, Singing spear, Enhance (Rebase)
10x Dire Avengers, Exarch, Dual Shuricats, Blade storm, Defend (Just the Exarch to finish)
3x Guardian Jetbikes, Shuriken Cannon (Done!)
5x Warp Spiders, Exarch, Powerblades, Xtra Death spinner, Withdraw (Base coated)
5x Swooping Hawks, Exarch, sunrifle, Intercept, Skyleap (Rebase)
5x Dark Reapers (Repaint/base)

Got a lot of painting ahead, but if I can keep going, especially with the easy rebasing, I'll have broken its back in no time!
I mean its mad right? But I've got to see 'em on the table!

That is a terrible list, but will look great on the tabletop! I love mixed Eldar lists like this one, they are very fun to play against a like-minded opponent.

For lolz, this is the list that I have played for fun games, which is quite similar. It is such a joy to play with, and even more of a joy when you beat people who aren't prepared for a list like this!

Love your work Chex, a fun list indeed. Kudos for the 10 Swooping Hawks. I'm a great believer in these guys. They're a bit like "Sex Panther" from Anchorman. 60% of the time they work everytime! Once blew up a landraider with Haywire grenades, priceless look on opponents face. I'll eventually end up with 16 of them (including 2 Exarchs), when I've painted up my existing models.

Swooping Hawks do, in fact, have bits of real panther.

Intercept makes Haywire Grenades awesome, just make sure they avoid Dreadnoughts lol. Post some pics when you are done with the army, it's always good to see some well painted Eldar.

Pushing on... after work today I've managed to nearly finish 30 figures! There is only light blue sand to be applied to the bases. I've been burning through the models that just needed glazing etc and so I'll be a lot slower when I hit the base coated units, and the re paint on Eldrad. I will attempt to send photos when I've finished.

Quite the grab bag of units!

Yep thats a little bit of everything. It is a really soft list tho - if you aimed for that you are good 2 go.

looks like fun, just remember every unit in the codex as a purpose and will work well in that. Eldar units have to support each other on the field.

Man, things have gone a bit mental. I had been basing and glazing the nearly completed elements of my list, then I neatly side stepped the hard work of painting the base coated ones, by rebasing and glazing ALL of my existing painted Eldar models. Bloody Heck nearly went nuts, but reality tv (I was basing etc in front of the telly with my wife) forced me onwards. I would rather paint with acid and rusty razor blades than pay attention to that dreck.
Current state of play:

Eldrad (Needs to be repainted/based)
Avatar (Done!)
8x Striking Scorps, Exarch, Claw, Stalker (only base coated)
10x Howling Banshees, Exarch, Executioner (Done!)
5x Fire Dragons, Exarch, Firepike, Tank hunters, Crackshot (Done!)
5x Ranger Pathfinders (Done!)
19x Guardian defenders, Star cannon, Warlock, Singing Spear, Conceal (Done!)
10x Storm Guardians 2x Flamer, Warlock, Singing spear, Enhance (Done!)
10x Dire Avengers, Exarch, Dual Shuricats, Blade storm, Defend (Done!)
3x Guardian Jetbikes, Shuriken Cannon (Done!)
5x Warp Spiders, Exarch, Powerblades, Xtra Death spinner, Withdraw (Base coated)
5x Swooping Hawks, Exarch, sunrifle, Intercept, Skyleap (Done!)
5x Dark Reapers (Repaint/base)

Plus....Done!
Asurmen
7 more Rangers
24 more Guardian defenders w 5 Heavy Weapon platforms (Starcannons mainly)
6 more Storm Guardians
3 more Warlocks
3 Wraithlords
4 more Swooping Hawks

So I'm a little burned out by all that.
I've started a basic colour test on one of the Warp spiders, and will probably based coat and re slotta base some of the remaining stuff this week, but I ain't hurrying. I'm finding the spiders a weird model to paint, its the rounded shapes and strange gun. I dunno, I'm a bit stuck for a colour scheme, so I'm happy to wait for inspiration to strike.
Cheers!

Do you have any tanks you can throw in there? They are pretty good and fun to paint. If you are trying to go for a footdar list I understand, but otherwise they can be very helpful.

Well, Son of Adam (can't help saying that in an Aslan voice :))
This whole sorry excuse for a list was the "leftovers" from a big painting drive I did recently to paint up and Glaze my Mech Wing.
So vehicles I have Currently
3 Falcons
1 Wave Serpent (Converted)
3x Vypers
9x Guardian Jetbikes 3x Shuriken cannon
3x converted Warlock/Farseers on Jetbikes

Now all I have left to do for Eldar is complete the 30 odd partly painted models from the list.
That is apart from A Wave serpent, Exarch on bike and Squadron of 3 War Walkers (3 in a box!), 3x old metal Support Weapons, 5x Swooping Hawks,5x Fire Dragons, 5x Dark Reapers all still in boxes.

That is every bit of Eldar I own, and I can see the horizon! I've been collecting for years and am a bit of a hoarder, so actually getting this close to finishing an army this size is very encouraging. I have a few armies so I usually dither about between them. But the Eldar have their hooks in real good at the moment, so I'm going to concentrate on them til they're done.
Famous Last Words!

I have been playing non-mechanized eldar for years and years with great success. The Avatar is key. I still would prefer to put the Dragons in a Wave Serpent to buy the rest of your army a turn or two of being ignored as targets.

I love Swooping Hawks but have never had a bit of luck with them!
