What are your thoughts on the following lists? Which one do you feel is more competitive. Not really looking to make changes just wanted opinions on any glaring flaws or strenghts i may have overlooked so that i can keep them in mind during game.

Personally i favor the first list for the added librarian giving me an extra offense and defense as well as psychic defense extended.
The second list was just an after thought variation as I figured 3 razorbacks coudln't hurt and could help me with taking out AV10 vehicles so that the missile launchers and assault marines could go at something else.

I think the second would be more competitive. Because you have only 2 troop choices the vehicles could help keep them on the table. Otherwise both seem deadly.

IMO the second list is better. The extra librarian isn't really going to add much since the psy hood is already covered with the first and you really have enough power weapons for 1250. The razorbacks are going to give you two things:

1) Late-game contesting and troop protectors. This is invaluable since most of your army is on foot; the ability to have something that can't be handled by anti-infantry fire power to tank-shock 18" onto an objective turn 5 is really going to help out a lot.

2) Extra reliable anti-horde/infantry. Missiles on frag mode can be awesome, they can also be worthless; take it from someone who is very accustomed to running 15x missile-fangs sometimes they put twenty-something wounds on a unit and others they put four; the TwL Heavy Bolters are going to hit and wound far more reliably.

the problem is that the basis of my BA is DoA.

So i dont want full armor also i'm avoiding troops without jump packs...the devastators are lucky they are in there to begin with i always give them dirty looks for not having jump packs like the rest of the army. lol

well, I'd give the devs drop pods, and swap out one dev for furioso/dreadnought as backup for the devs. Slap some locator beacons on the pods for 'just in case'.

Second one but didnt you miscalculate the cost for the priests?

I prefer the second one, but I am not sure why you need so many priests since their FNP bubble can encompass both
