Brigade Models (http://www.brigademodels.co.uk/index.html) have a variety of miniature ranges to their name including spaceships and figures for use in both World Wars and even a steampunk range. Their Celtos range is 28mm and loosely based on Celtic myth and legend and includes some rather nice fantasy figures at very affordable prices:

I have to say these are nostalgic as they remind me of the 80s and 90s. The mini in my opinion are dated and lack details Just my opinion

I remember seeing this company before some time ago but I completely forgot about them, thanks for posting. A little too retro for my tastes (though I do like Enora), but a lot of people like that.

Thanks. I was looking at the pictures and trying to work why I wanted to like them but they weren't quite working for me and this is exactly it. Just lacking that crispness and precision you get with modern models, making them look a bit too 'rounded'. Thanks for the post though Brakkart, I'll check out the full range.

You're welcome, I'm enjoying helping out with eldargal's grand project of finding all these lesser known companies. I tend to agree that the figures are a bit old fashioned but they have an appeal perhaps because of that. My favourite is the dragon rider.

The old fashioned aspect does have some appeal, but I can't really see them fitting with my GW armies so they don't work for me.
It's great to see more additions to Eldargals fantastic work, if you have any more keep them coming, it is appreciated. I'd never considered buying outside GW before as I don't play any other systems and I'm in it for the gaming rather than the painting, but this project has shown me just how many fantastic models there are that are suitable for GW games.
