So, we all love conversions, but so often, all a conversion is is someone who's stuck a bit of GS onto a Marine and made a little tabard with fingerprint lines in. We've all been there; we've all made that conversion (unless you haven't, in which case, why have you left the Privateer Press discussion board?)
All joking aside however, we've all seen genuinely jaw dropping conversions. Stuff that you look at and wish you could do. Those people who somehow turn a sheet of styrene into a tank that looks better than something Forge World produced; those people who drill holes into Marine legs to make space for little balls that will be studs to realistically replicate mark 5 armour. You all know the stuff.
So anyway, this is a thread for images, and you're only allowed to post pictures of radical conversions (that's radical as in "extensive", not radical as in "I'm currently living in 1987 but speaking like it's 1985".) The only qualifier is that they must be:
a.) Really detailed, above-the-norm conversions, and
b.) Genuinely jaw-dropping.
They don't have to be yours; they can be stuff you've seen online. But they can't just be a photorealistic paint-job. They must make you go "Holy frak, how much effort did that take?!"
To whit, a few of my favourites:
