I was working on this today while working from home. It was kind of a brain storm that came from being bored at work last week.

Since I haven't seen anyone do a Szeras conversion yet here is my version.

Sadly after I took these I broke the arm off. oops  I'll post up a few more after I get around to painting it.

That looks great! I can identify most of the pieces used, but what are the cowling above the head and legs from? The legs are stumping me, maybe another company?

I dont have the dex near me so cant reference the pic but does his staff look like that? If it does, excellent, if not, maybe use some triach bits and such to make the staff more to the art?

Either way great model!

The legs are from one of the Privateer Press Cryx warjacks, either the Harrower or Leviathan (they have the same base chassis).

Nice conversion. It looks very coherent, and well put together. I'm not sold on the pose of the arms though; the left arm in particular looks a bit awkward to me for some reason, but I can't put my finger on why. But it's not not enough to detract from the general coolness.

I do love this conversion, and the use of cryx legs was genius, it works perfectly.

I like the idea of it and where you are headed with it, but I think the pose of the legs looks wrong to me. They are too bunched up, they make him look like a centuar instead of a BA necron dude with spider legs. Maybe space the individaul legs further apart from each other so it doesn't look like he is galloping with a very composed upper body, and left arm does need something; either a swiping motion to the side, or pointing.

I like the concept. I think an aggressive pose would fit the 'personality' of this character, though.

Hey guys sorry for the late reply. I've been busy working on and painting resin models for the woman. If she's happy then everyone is happy. Also means she doesn't ask how much I spent on models or parts or paints. :)

This model was made with a lot of scavenged parts:
Torso, spine, backbone and pelvis came off a Necron Destroyer model.
Head came off of one of the techs from the Annihilation Barge.
Arms came off the Finecast Necron Lord.
The dangly bit in the front came off the necron overlord from the Annihilation Barge.
The pointy hand bit came out the Praetorians box (i think).
The legs did indeed come from a Warmachine Cryx Warjack Leviathan.
The cowl thing over his head I chopped off what was left of a Blood Angels librarian dreadnought sarcophagus.

I didn't like the horse look of the legs either after looking at it. So I moved (read: bent) them to a better pose. I also did not like the original left arm so I took it off and replaced it with the lord/praetorian conversion. I also broke the right arm off after I took the first pictures so it has been reposed in a little more aggressive position.

I probably won't ever use this model, but I'm still really looking forward to painting it. Here is a what it looks like with the new "pose" and new left arm.
