Hello everyone, I am currently taking part in a league where we must play 3 rounds of 3 games each. All games of a given round must be played with the same army list but we are allowed to change it between rounds. I am looking to improve mine for the next round.

My current list is as follows:

HQ
Overlord
- Warscythe
- Tachion Arrow
- Phase Shifter
- Combat Barge

Royal Court
- Harbinger of Destruction
- Harbinger of Destruction
- Harbinger of Transmogrification
- Necron Lord, Warscythe, Res Orb, Phase Shifter

Elite
Lychguards x5
- Hyperphase Sword + Shield

Troops
Warriors x9
- Ghost Ark

Warriors x9
- Ghost Ark

Warriors x10

Heavy
Monolith

1494

The Harbingers of Destruction each go inside a Ghost Ark. The Harbinger of Transmogrification goes with the footslogging Warriors and the Lord with the Orb goes into the Lychguards.

Going by the fact that I hadn't played the game since the Eldar Codex was released, I have had what I consider fairly good success with this list. Even though the results were a Major Loss and a Draw, I can pin both results on faulty strategy (such as not Deep Striking my Monolith in the right spot both games) rather than on an underperforming list. In each game, I won the attrition (KP) battle by a fair margin.

One of the changes that I will do for certain is to switch the Tachion Arrow for a Ressurection Orb on the Overlord. I have not shot the Arrow in either of my games and since this Lord is basically a Kamikazi, a full 50% chance to ressurect would have been useful.

I know that many people don't like Lychguards, but in the two games I've played them so far, they have been very good at drawing fire and busting up vehicles that have been stunned/immobilized from all the Gauss fire. Plus I got them for their looks. :) That said, I'm willing to part ways with them for a few games.

The Harbinger of Transmogrification has been less than stellar even if it did immobilize a skimmer with a shot from its staff. It was originally supposed to have the Seismic Crucible to protect the footslogging warriors from assaults, but I ran out of points and just kept him for his (underwhelming) staff.

All suggestions are appreciated and can be made under the assumption that I have every Necron model.
