I started this little guy a few days ago. Got some hours in on him, and hope to resume this weekend. It's my first go at "full-on" NMM, as I have usually reserved it for more conservative application. Anyway, I hope you like it thus far.

Looks really, really good so far dude. I need to find me a good NMM gold recipe. Yours looks quite nice.

Thanks. I'm hoping to get through the silver parts, as well as the parchment and wings this weekend. We shall see. ;)

That's looking awesome, truly. You will have to post the finished product when you're done. You hear me? Don't make us come looking for you! :D

Really really liking your work their mate. I keep meaning to get one of these guys to do NMM on, even if it's just attempting to follow the WD 'Masterclass' lol. The gold looks fantastic and, if you can keep up that level with the other colours, this should be one of the best Sanguinors I've seen on the interwebs :)

That's awesome! I'm not a huge fan of NMM to tell the truth but this just looks incredible!

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the model when it's done. :)

Yeh that looks nice and sharp. You using the BA WD guide? If so, when your done, try using the same technique on Saint Celestine using the principles you've learnt. But if you did that with no guide whatsoever then don't listen to me because you're a much better painter than I!

Saint Celestine? I supposed they are, thematically, very similar models.

I have a lot of commissions lined up, but I will see what I can do.:)

Sorry I've been away for so long. I had some family issues that required my attention. Since you aren't here for my life story, I present you with a few updates to Mr. Sanguinor. I did some work on the wings (of which there are many on this figure).

Sorry I don't have photos of any details up-close. I currently don't have a camera capable of focusing at such close proximity.

Next, I plan to work on the backpack, the sword, the red shoulder pads, and perhaps the small details around the model, if there's time. Enjoy!

Fantastic! So difficult to get a nice smoothe blend on white, and you've got it spot on. can't wait to see how the red comes out :)

Sadly, the only photos I have taken are the ones already posted online. There may not be a tutorial, but I'd like to do some instructional videos in the near future. Techniques from basic to advanced, along with a buddy of mine whom I share a lot of painting time with.

Thanks for the compliments!
