Krell's an amazing miniature in and of himself, but, man, think of how many Night Lords players will be using him as a Lord base...

Figures look gorgeous but the front cover is ugh.....I preferred the previous book front cover

That new figure for Krell is magnificent, gonna have to get one of those just to paint him up. Here's hoping if/when Kemmler gets a new figure it will look as good, cos those two together are legends of Warhammer and should look the part. Having said that Kemmler's old figure is still pretty sweet.

Liking the Crypt Horrors/Vargheists a lot too. Is it just me or are there intestines spilling out of one of the pillows on the Coven Throne?

They also have FC updates of 14 models from the exisitng range, thats not bad going!

The Krell model is lovely, certainly says 'dead powerful ex-Chaos lord'. I'm actually hoping they don't update Kemmler, it is one of GWs classic models and I'm amazed how well it has aged. Up there with Eldrad but I think Kemmler is older. I noticed hte intestine pillow too, lovely touch.;)

Throne! This is such a f...in´credible model - i realy want one only for painting fun and display ... but i gnaws on me ... i´m done with WFB since years and dived in 40K but this creuel beautys make me think how it be to buy the book, to hmmm ... just read a little ... and well coretroops are easy to paint isn´t that so?

And yes the new incarnation of isabella looks realy lovely - like both model and paintjob* :cool:

So GW put up a Vampire Counts video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=iXlem3xhPn4) with Phil Kelly on youtube.

It is mostly just hype and pretty pictures and the revelation that Phil Kelly HAS GROWN A GOATEE THING! I'm a little dissapointed actually, I'd have preferred a designer round table/interview thing like they normally do.

Generally not int FB, but I do like the Throne. I'm planning to pick one up for bits and terrain accessorizing.

I do like how if you choose to make it as a Coven Throne, you get those 3 banshee's that are swirling about the top of the Mortis Engine as extra parts, which would (with a little work) make for a pretty cool spirit host in their own right, and they are certainly better looking than the actual Spirit Host model/s you can buy seperately.
