What are peoples opinions on the wargear, my understanding is that no two Crypteks in the same court can have the same piece of wargear, this is simple for most things, however, does this extend to the staves. There is no reason the staff shouldn't be considered a separate piece of wargear, so, hence how can you take two in one court (there seem to be allot of list relying on the use of many lances).

Firstly, I would appreciate it f someone could post the entire rule in its exact wording as I am traveling and don't have my codex with me.

Secondly, I would most like to hear how people justify taking two of the same staves in a court whilst sticking to the exact rule, as well as any counters. I have already offered mine based on the fact that the staff must be a piece of wargear and so the rule applies, however as I said I don't know the exact wording of the rule.

The wording is 'Any number of Crypteks that are in a Royal Court can be upgraded to a single, specific type of Harbinger. Whilst you can have any number of Harbinger's of a specific type, each of the Harbingers unique wargear options can only be chosen once in each Royal Court.''

This combines with the fact that the Harbinger types come with the stave, eg 'upgrade to a Harbinger of Destruction, exchanging staff of light for eldritch lance....10pts'

I think that's the justification you were looking for

Thanks, that's cool, I just couldn't remember that part well enough.
