I'm new to posting on BoLS, but not new to being a lurker. I've looked around and seen a lot of good things done by a lot of people. With that said I got really bored this weekend and decided to make my own version of the Necron Tomb Blade. The parts were scavenged out of Doomsday Ark and Annihilation Barge boxes. I had orginally bought the two boxes to part out and make scenery with, but the thought of making something that doesn't exist yet seemed kinda fun.

They don't exactly match the one picture that exists of them, but here they are:

I feel like this is a pretty expensive kit-bash/conversion. You're using a most of a $33 dollar kit for like a 25pt model...
But is is lovely!

You realise that a Tomb Blade is essentially just an Immortal on a Jetbike? Should be much smaller and simpler in my opinion.

Id personally count that as a Tomb Stalker.

Thanks guys. I do realize it's not an economical kit bash and that it's a warrior on a jet bike. For the points vs cost it's totally not worth it. I had originally intended for it to be a lot smaller, but it just kinda grew into what it is. If I was actually going to use a lot of them I would be recasting the parts for myself as well as making it quite a bit smaller. :)

Then again both of the kits were bought just to cut apart and use for scenery anyways. So the cost wasn't really a factor.

That looks badass. You could always run it as a Command Barge, too, if you don't want to make a whole squad that size. I doubt anyone would object to you calling it a Tomb Stalker either.
