What happens to a necron with RP if it suffers a charactersistic change, goes down, but returns from RP? How about one with Everliving?
Examples
Necron Warrior takes a thunderhammer to the face, goes down, but returns to combat, what I value?
Necron Overlord takes a thunderhammer to the face, goes down, but returns to combat, what I value?
Necron suffers entropic strike?

Necron Warrior takes a thunderhammer to the face, goes down, but returns to combat, what I value?
Still the same model that has suffered a wound from a thunderhammer so I1 for next round of combat
Necron Overlord takes a thunderhammer to the face, goes down, but returns to combat, what I value?
Still the same model that has suffered a wound from a thunderhammer so I1 for next round of combat
Necron suffers entropic strike?
Still the same model that has suffered a wound from an entropic strike so no armour for rest of game
all you have to remember is it is still the same model so any special rules should still apply to it, unfortunatly the rules are not clear on it so id play it like this unless an faq states otherwise

The model was technically destroyed, but came back. Not the same as wounded but survived.

Thunder Hammer rules: "In addition, all models that suffer an unsaved wound from a thunder hammer and are not killed will be knocked reeling..."
Reanimation Protocols and Ever-living rules: "If a model with the Reanimation Protocols rule is removed as a casualty" and "If a model with this special rule is removed as a casualty".
The wording "and not killed" is key. Both R. Protocols and Ever-living take place "If [the] model is removed as a casualty".
The Thunder Hammer rules only take effect if the model has been killed (i.e. removed as a casualty); R. Proto. and E.-living only take place if the model has been killed. Thus, if a model is bought back to life by R. Proto. or E.-living it does not suffer from the effects of a Thunder Hammer.

As I understand it, when the Necrons (eithr with RP or EL) go down now you are supposed to remove the model and, in the case of RP, place counters to be rolled for at the end of the phase. Essentially, that necron is destroyed/removed from play but may be replaced with the RP rule. As such, they are killed, so the replacement model wouldn't suffer from the effects of the Thunderhammer.

I was pondering a question just the other day, along the same lines as this question.
How does this new necron rule, the Reanimation protocol, work in conjunction with things that "remove from play"? Would they still get the roll for reanimation, or are they gone from the table, to never return for the remainder of the battle?

Well, "removed from play" and"removed as a casualty" are two different things. I'd say if hey're removed from play completely without counting as having been killed, they are gone forever.

I agree that 'removed as a casualty' and 'removed from play' are different, but the Sisters of Battle FAQ adds something odd to the mix
Q: Can Saint Celestine use her Miraculous Intervention
special rule against attacks that remove models from
play? (White Dwarf, August 2011, Page 103)
A: Yes.
Many Necron players do point to this as a arugment that they are treated the same.

That is an argument worth considering, and one I forgot about (but then, who exactly has been caring much about Sisters since their new "codex"?). I'm afraid that I am not completely certain what triggers Celestine's resurrection, though. Does it use the same wording (aside from the Necron specific references, of course)?
