These might be my best squad YET. I feel really good on both the conversion and the painting. I tired out many new techniques(mainly the leather, Bleached bones with 3 washed of Devlan mud, one of Badab Black.) And my first try at highlighting with a good detail brush.
And i love to work i did on the tabards, Bronzed flesh with 2 light drybrushes of bleached bone. Followed by a devlan mud wash then highlights of Bone and white
All in all i love them. Know lets hope they serve me good in the battlefront

This is the Sgt. Im not sure hoe i feel about the eagle headed bolter. ot the shoulder pad. the sculpt wasnt that well. But i love the look on the head i did. Simple Elf Flesh with Ogryn Flesh then badab black. Gives a withered veteran feel.

good job! from what i can see you are off to a good start!

I personally like the eagle boltgun! the only problem is it looks like the tip of the beak is in front of the barrel?

I couldnt figure out how to fix that after the head was glued on. I fugured so many things make little sense in 40k it wouldnt matter.
