That's some really nice stuff :) Love the free hand on the top of the land raider.
And the ale cans look like one hell of an objective marker :P

Dude those pelts actually look like cured pelts thats freakin sweet. Just so I don't get all OCD and dig my Rune translation book out, what do the runes say? This has definitely given me some ideas for rebuilding my wolves.

Thanks and yea Haegr's Stash is always a popular objective marker. :)

Well actually the runes don't spell out anything. I speed painted all of this stuff in under a week for a tournament I attended and I didn't feel like sitting at my desk with Elder Futhark translations. So really they are just there to be cool, maybe I'll re-do them and spell something out later but for now I'm happy with the result, it took a long time to paint out all those runes...

Ah thanks, your the first one to comment on the flames, I guess I was running out of wolfy ideas and decided something a little unusual would make a nice contrast.
I really like the wolf pelts, they look great. The freehand is nice, (And please take this as constructive) but I think if you took a bit more time on your freehand it could improve greatly.
For example,
1. take a micron pen and outline the letters/ Runes to give them more defenition.
2. Draw a straight line with a light pencil (I like Mechanical) to keep your freehand straight, some of your letters aren't inline with eachother.
3. When doing shapes draw it out in pencil to make sure that it is symmetrical prior to painting it.
4. When doing lines of writing indent some of the lines and also, especially on vehicles, write in the first letter of the line

Here is an example of my own freehand to show what I mean (feel free to constructivly help if you see errors.) The one on the left has been redone since this pic.

For some reason I read the rhino door from right to left: "Wolves Space." Now I have an awesome mental image of a SW biker bar serving up some of that ale. For that alone, I thank you.
The paint job is good and Dukes suggestion of outlining some of your freehand is one that I second. You could also try and swap to a more grunge type text as though the wolves just haphazardly smeared or brushed it on.
The attatched images are quick examples of what I'm suggesting.

There's always room for improvement and your suggestions are good but too time consuming for my purposes (with these models at least), these are all speed paints and as the term suggests speed is the main concern. As for the Dropcaps I actually do that on my Ultramarines tanks but with the Wolves I didn't want to emphasis regular lettering aside from the names but wanted some smaller looking text.
Actually the freehand on these models was all just done on the fly without any previous sketches or planning as I suppose would be more appropriate for extensive freehand paintings. Hopefully in the not so far future I'll be doing some freehand on some Imperial Fists tanks and to make sure I don't have to fix up any mistakes I'll probably be doing more in the way of preliminary sketches and outlines. But we'll see that's still a ways off.
Oh and as for micropens what kind actually work on model paint? I haven't come across any pens usefull for the task at local stores.

Great work on the models mate! I have one piece of constructive criticism.
Either remove the freehand writing (not the runes, they look fine) or repaint it, but use some stencils, or just map put the areas where you are going to write on and plan the letter placement.
Doing free-hand writing on vehicles is a very hard thing to do right, otherwise it greatly detracts from the overall model.
