Looks good, nice stats and an invulnerable save.

Usual phoenix lord issues, a bit too pricey for what he can do (you can get an entire other squad for the same price) and his weapon range doesn't mesh that well with the 12" standard spectre gunor long range of the ghost light.

Throw in deep strike and plasma grenades and you might have a deal as an individual or add some booster to his squad, like being able to use his BS for the ghost or better still, holofields for the whole squad.

At the moment I'm still going to be using these guys as warp spiders, they are great models

Prefer the ranged options, but this looks as good as can be expected.

Wow, hopefully the experimental rules will be tweaked a bit. He's more expensive than he needs to be with the current 'dex meta.

All six have a model (though I'd say they show their age). The only thing "missing" in regards to the Phoenix Lords is the fact that the Spiders and Spears simply don't have Phoenix Lords, even in fluff.

Yet another horrible unit rules wise for Eldar.

How about a jump troop assault unit? How about some kind of effective long range mobile shooting? How about an assault squad that isn't outclassed by every single assault unit in the game?

The one thing I do like is the personal holofield. I hope that it becomes more of a staple in the eldar armory in upcoming updates.

I can't see a place for these guys in a normal FOC at their price, especially when the warp hunter occupies the same slot in the IA:A2 metagame. Thats simply an amazing tank with an amazing gun.

Well I guess we could just have one entry in our book. The infinity red button. Deploy at beginning of game, push, we win game over. Sorry but I had to get that outta my system. My friend finally likes his new necrons dex. The reason we don't warp spider and shining spear exarchs is because their shrines came after the fall so I think it was really pure smart to have a lost PLord. Now they could rewrite history and give us lost SS and WS PL which would tickle me pink, but don't see that happening.:D
