Nice!
Its missing 1 photo:
Gah, can't get the link to stick
It's a middle aged woman with a full back tatoo of the main 3 characters in some random scene - google 'twilight tatoo's' you'll find it...
So disturbing...

Loved the note slipped in the book though!

The links were hilarious, thanks!
I did, however, make the mistake of googling the train-wreck of a middle-aged woman with the back tat.
Lord A, I might not forgive you for that.
Now I'm off to go floss my brain...

Whoever wrote the first "teenagers-and-sexy-vampires" **** book should have been burnt at the stake

Ex-ter-min-ate Bell-a! Ex-ter-mi-nate! Ex-ter-mi-nate!
:p
I hate Twilight, in fact none of the girl gamers I know (part of the supposed demographic) like it. I tried reading it once and gave up after a few pages, it was truly horrific.

Sadly, she's writing more books about the histories of the werwolves and vampires. It'll be never ending.... at least actors actually age. Silver lining? Maybe?

Apparently, no one hates Twilight more than Rob Patterson. (who stars IN the movie as Mr. Sparkly vamp and hates it).
(editing to include examples)
“When I read it … I was convinced that Stephenie was convinced that she was Bella, and … It was like it was a book that wasn’t supposed to be published, like reading her - her sort of sexual fantasy about some - especially when she says that it was based on a dream, and it’s like, ‘Oh, then I had a dream about this really sexy guy’ and she just writes this book about it, and there’s some things about Edward that are just so specific that … I was just convinced that this woman is mad, she’s completely mad, and she’s in love with her own fictional creation.
“And I sometimes … Feel uncomfortable reading this thing, and I think a lot of people feel the same way, that it’s kind of voyeuristic … It creates this sick pleasure in a lot of ways.”
(From a 2008 video interview with E!Online, which has been widely quoted but since removed.)
He can’t stand Edward Cullen:
“Girls often say that Edward’s ‘sooo perfect,’ but he’s not. I do not like people who try to exert control in a relationship, when there is an imbalance. This is very wrong and very strange.”
- Last month, at a Q&A in Brussels.
“… The more I read the script, the more I hated this guy, so that’s how I played him, as a manic-depressive who hates himself.”
- October 2008, to Empire magazine
He thinks the Breaking Dawn plot is ludicrous:
“Have sex, demon baby. No, they get married first, demon baby, Jacob falls in love with the little baby [laughs], then everyone tries to kill each other, but nothing happens. Oh, that’s the second one [laughs even harder].”
- July, at ComicCon.
And - horror - he mocks the highly-anticipated sex scene. (For non-Twihards: in the book, Edward gets fairly rough on honeymoon, and hates himself for hurting Bella.)
“I wanted to have it as a line so much. [He switches to an ‘Edward’ accent] ‘I bit through all the pillows. Every. Single. One.’ And then he’d start crying. By the way, that’s what he should be ashamed of in the morning. All those beautiful pillows! Egyptian cotton! (Laughs) ‘I ruined this bed!’”
- August, to Entertainment Weekly.

Just goes to show you should never hate an actor for a role, he is clearly a sensible chap with good taste in literature.:)

Ive got a idea a book,
Vampires: the truth about the sparkle.
Inside the book will detail that vampires that sparkle are actually the offspring of a blind death mute and all other senses removed vampire and justin beiber.

Now, I'm leaving myself wide open here...
But the idea of "sparkly" vampires isn't inherently dreadful.
*ducks for cover*
Okay, hear me out.
So, corpses dessicate, and salt rises to the surface. This is what generates the "sparkle"; they don't sparkle like diamonds - they "sparkle" like the non-slip floors they use in supermarkets. Kind of like stone. It's not attractive or pleasant to look at. It's a side effect of the fact that he's basically a corpse, and any right thinking person would immediately freak out at the hideous Uncanny Valley effect.
However...
Bella Swan is a hideous BDSM freak (which we know from her slavish devotion to her master, Cullen.) She lives and breathes abject domination by him, hence why his hideous possessive boyfriend madness (breaking into her room to watch her sleep then claiming he's "protecting her" - yeah right, you creepy, creepy emotional manipulator) and so when she sees this hideousness, her mind rationalises it away as something beautiful... because she's too young to know just how deeply he's manipulating her submissive sexuality.
I know everyone's got to hate Twilight; I do, largely because it's such a blatant lift of Vampire: The Masquerade it's not even funny, as well as the fact it's responsible for setting back several feminist causes by approximately one hundred years.
But still, the sparkly vampires thing is actually quite creepy. Or at least it would be if the director of the films had had the nerve to actually emphasise his "inhuman predator" aspect, rather than his "He's so angsty! Your love can fix him!" thing.
As for the whole "Vampires should be scary! Baw!" thing.
Well... vampires aren't scary. They're just serial killers, only with severe allergies.
As for Stephanie Meyer being Bella... oh absolutely. Her books really are just her revealing her deepest sexual thoughts. Read how Bella behaves around Cullen, and compare it to this:

My only concern is that is sounds like you've read the books, and put a bit of thought into this;).

That's my job. I don't complain about stuff I don't know about (because I can't stand it when people do that regarding the games I play and the films I watch. I'm no motherfrakking hypocrite.), and I have to encourage young people to read all the time.
I just feel so sorry for this generation of young women. Mine grew up with Buffy The Vampire Slayer a girl so badass that when she once fought a demon who was immune to swords, she jumped up her game and went for an antitank missile, and never once needed another human being to validate her life.

What do this generation get? This generation get Bella Swan, a girl so profoundly stupid she needs an mp3 on constantly saying "breath in; breath out" to remind her what to do to avoid suffocating. There's a character to want to grow up to be...

Here in Spain, I had my original Bram Stokerīs Dracula book in a very bad health, cause I usually wear it to read it while I travel on business...
Well, my girilfriend bought me a new copy of it and the book store personnel greeted us to buy a real vampire story and not Twilight...
