Initially I thought there would be some tough decisions to make here, but it seems to be 50:50 in what to take!

In the old Necron Codex, it was basically a horde of Warriors with 3+ saves marching forward in lockstep and nearly indestructible Monolith spam, boring to say the least especially to play against. Now, the players of Necron armies will have to come up with novel tactics, which is good for both sides. Thanks for the review, now I'll know what my Dark Eldar are up against.

do you think this will be a good codex?

Overall I don't see why I can't be a good codex, not as many options as dark eldar, but much more diverse than grey knights! Definitely a codex that can compete at tournaments, though it will be a little time before the best lists can be figured out!

@warpcrafter thanks for the comments youre welcome :)

To win consistently with the old codex you took 2 min warrior units (placed in reserves) and 3 maximum Destroyer units (always 36" from the opponent, never more than 6" apart) and just 1 Monolith. Fun, consistent wins. Multiple Monoliths was the quickest road to phaseout.
