Gents, here are my Salamander army conversions so far ...

Vulcan: made with Xavier's cloak, GK Nemesis Force Weapon and a LC with the claws clipped for the Heavy Flamer Gauntlet. These pics of Vulcan are poor - old camera - the rest are with the new camera that has Macro.

Sternguard Vets: These lads have Chapterhouse studio shoulder pads and PF, Dark Elf Corsairs cloaks and old Scout biker bolters. The Heavy Flamer Vet is wielding two cut down flamers to bea Hvy Flamer equivalent.

What can I say? I like them :)

Interesting idea on using our shield on the side of the rhino, I have to say it works well and I never ever thought about using it that way, kudos!

I guess you bought one of our early rhino kits that only had one side door, they now have 2.

One suggestion, since Ive done the Sternies, I used plastic Cadian Command Heavy flamers. The flamer tanks actually fit real well on the back of the marine power pack, and for tubing (since the tubes dont fit, too short) I found some jewelry elastic tubing at hobby lobby. It came out real nice, I need to take a picture, but havent since they arent even primed yet.

Keep an eye out for the Chapterhouse Salamander Landraider kit in a month or so.

Nick

Actually, I did get two doors in my Rhino kit Thank You, but I didn't know that I would get a second so that is why I bought the shields so I could put something on the other side. Rest assured I will use them for something else!!

Oh Yeah the new Cadian Heavy Flamer from the new Cadian Command squad would be good idea. For the tubing I use guitar wire and have found that to work out well.

I'll look forward to it!

Thanks! I had hoped it would count as a Heavy Flamer a la Sisters of Battle that use two flame pistols to count as a flamer I figured two flamers would equally add up to a Heavy flamer. That was the theory anyway! ;)

BTW I forgot to put up pics of my TH/SS Assault Terminators! They use some more of the Chapterhouse shoulder pads, you'll really like these!! :D
