New Necron plastic kitsCatacomb Command Barge

I was looking at the images of the Necron Catacomb Command Barge sprue at the GW site and if i didnt know any better i would swear it comes with a plastic necron lord ??

This is a new and interesting possibility for platic kits build the Annihilation Barge and you basically have the bits for a free plastic necron lord ?

ALso for the Necron Lychguard / Triarch Praetorians and Necron Immortals / Deathmarks combined box sets couldnt you just take the extra parts and use them to kit bash with the old necron warriors to have both ?

I have never owned a single necron so i was curious by the sounds of it these kits are rather good value for money.

Yes, it comes with a plastic lord who is just as at home on a base as he is on the barge.

They did this before, actually, with the Tomb King release. The Necro/Warsphinx kit has a plastic character that can ride the beast or go on a base of its own.

I for one am all for seeing more of this in the future. :)
I doubt we'll get -too- much of it, though.

Not only does it come with the bits to make a plastic necron lord, they specifically supply you with a base for this lord in the box. :D

Also, from what I can tell using the pictures/360 degree viewer, it looks like it will be very easy to have the lord + 'altar' and the cannon on the barge swap places...probably even without magnets or the like.

I'm hoping to use one box to build both kits and swap the loadout of the vehicle as I desire...keep the lord on his base and just put him and the altar on for the command barge...take 'em off and swap the gun in for the gunship.
