Here's my latest work, almost finished: this wolf is the third thunder I sculpt, I think is the best so far and should go into production, and ready for sale next week.

I used to make for the first time the Super Sculpey firm (the grey one), green stuff (as usual), brown (but not seen, is inside the body of the marine and wolf and a summery in detail hammer) and finally Milliput (the hammer). I have yet to apply the latest details (a little 'details will be added to bionic leg of the wolf), but we can say that it is practically finished.

Constructive criticism (you can be ruthless, don't worry) and comments are welcome.

I want to stress again that is NOT A CONVERSION, but totally new sculpt (apart from the jaw that comes from a copy of the first thunder wolf model I did and, of course, plasticard or brass), the grey of Super Sculpey firm can deceiving … :)

That is just fantastic. I love the dynamism of the whole thing.

Are they GW made parts you're using for the rider? Is it legally okay to use them to make your product? That's my only concern. If you're okay, then go nuts - I hope you get a lot of orders for the model because it really is a nice piece. When you get a cast product I'd love to see a painted example! Bravo!

I think it looks great. The rider's face is almost too bestial imo though. Kind of close to a Wulfen. Still, small nitpick aside you did a great job.

No no, as I wrote isn't conversion, no GW parts, the grey parts done in grey stuff (super sculpey firm).

I received to day resin copy from foundry, really happy about result.
I have a special offer for this and the other two pose for the next week.

Awesome work dude!
Just wanted to ask why you use the grey stuff for some of the sculpt? I've only had a small amount of experience with green stuff and am curious about techniques for results as sweet as this!

Hi,
I like work with green stuff, but super sculpey firm has a good advantage: it never become hard, you need to bake it. So I can doing big work with the right time without worry about, can doing a detail and tomorrow edit totally or in part. For little work prefer green stuff, because is more "elastic" and sticky very well on any surface.
If you had any other questions don't worry, happy to help :)

I use super sculpey firm because had a great characteristic: don't become never hard, you need to bake it. So I can sculpt without worry about time, and if I want edit tomorrow a detail I doing yesterday I can without problems. The bad side of super sculpey tend to become difficult sculpt little details (in tin layer became translucent). Grey stuff IMHO is unbeatable when must doing little detail or need a fast bake

Thanks for kind comments :)

It's absolutely awesome... except for the hammer, which looks to big and unwieldy
