My beautiful immensly talented wife has painted her second piece of terrain, she finished it last week, and we took some time taking pics, but here they are http://40kpainting4hire.blogspot.com/

Holy cow you weren't kidding!
Your wife is really, really good!

I really liked the screaming skull on the webway portal and how she painted up the chaos star on the fantasy piece.

Dude...not to segue away from the topic or anything...but isn't it a bit off to refer to your wife as the "MILF."

I mean, she's your wife, man!

Shouldn't that make her a MIGF, or a MIAF or something?

Is your lady wife an artist or something? From the standards of the two pieces on your blog, she needs to be starting on Golden Daemon stuff right now!

Not the "Mother I'd Like to..."

See--MILF implies you'd like to--not that you necessarily get to...

or it could mean "love to" and yes we are in the honeymoon phase, and have been for two years!! I am a very lucky man, I wish that all my friends in the various nerd kingdoms could be so lucky!!

Right now I'm starting to get into my annual "why the hell don't I move away from this sodden, cold, slushy sub-zero temperature hell and go to Monterey" mode. :)

I love Chicago, don't get me wrong.

But I'm not a fan of -60 degree wind chill either...

I loved it in the winter, but it was akward trying to carry my minis on the bus and the train. I miss the hot dogs but living in DFW I have found Chicago like restaurants. and a lot more game stores!!!

Wow, your wife is very talented, I must say. The paint scheme is interesting, and there are lots of different colours that really compliment each other well.

Also, for the rest of you, "MILF" is the right term, since he's married, he doesn't get to nearly as often as he'd like :P

I like the dark eldar, nicely done. How were the eyes done on the temple of skulls scenery ? airbrush or blended layers and just how in the hell did you find a woman who enjoys wargaming :) mine just looks at me with scorn with the mere mention of my hobby lol.

it was blended, there are multiple layers. And I had to wade to through some real bad women before I found my first love again. She is an exceptional woman!!
