40k terrain coming?

So over in the fantasy rumors BramGaunt has given us a treat,


Skullvane Manse.

Its Huge. Huge like "look at the size of that thing!" it features an astronomy-tower and yes, it also has some huge skulls. I guess it's aproximatly as high as the mage tower, but it is at least three times as wide. You will like it.

I'm surprised they've never done an eldar webway gate.

Easy to do with simple shapes, so could be a candidate for the cheaper production process.

Leave off the oval gems as separate pieces to be glued on and it has DE cross army appeal, plus it makes a good objective for chaos and imperial forces looking to access the webway.

Also cross games sytem appeal as it could be used for fantasy elves as some kind of monument.

The new terrain guy at FW said at GDUK that he intended on doing some Nid scenery

But he also said a lot of scenery from now will be in the Realm of Battle expansion type

they always end up charging a fortune for terrain but it does look amazing. im a big fan of the battlefiled in a box stuff plus no painting required which is a perk lol

I will happily take some RoB expansion tile terrain that's race-specific. Tyranid-themed table (or even just table half)? Yes please.

That being said - does anyone know what the Imperial Strongpoint tile from FW is like? I find it a really interesting/tempting buy but I'm leery of what sort of quality issues might be present with a table tile made by FW...

The preview batch of Imperial Placements apparently had some minor shrinkage, my brothers needed to have a strip of thin wood stuff (I forget what it is called) around the edges to make it fit. The new batches do not have this problem as far as I'm aware, I heard the delay between it being on sale at one of the Games Days and going on general sale was while they fixed the issue. Just hearsay but I've not seen any complaints about the emplacement since general release.
