Reaper Miniatures (http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore) are one of the veteran fantasy miniature companies, having started in 1992. They have a vast amount of stuff for sale on their online store, far too much for me to give any kind of representative overview so I will just post a few favourites.

Joeliyn, from the Sisters of the Blade range:
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/14604_w_1.jpg

Kyra and Lazarath, also from the Sisters of the Blade range:
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/03000_w_1.jpg
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/IG_913_3.jpg

Hydra by Sandra Garrity, I use one of these in my Dark Elf army:
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/14445.jpg

The online store has an excellent search engine with each miniature having several tags which really help when it comes to finding things. They accept Paypal and ship internationally.

Some more:

'Ushabti' Ammat Devourers:

Master Spy:

Townsfolk:

The Harpy, female super villain:
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/50181_w_1.jpg

The sculpt quality is variable (many different sculptors) but in general a tad less than what you would get at GW or AoW and some of the other companies I've listed, but it is generally good and some are excellent. If you are looking for a model to convert or to add some variety to a unit then I really can't recommend a browse through the Reaper online store enough.

I like the Joeliyn model, I'm wondering if it's possible to convert a Female Farseer from her.

I don't see why not, a little greenstuff work would be required for runes and 'Eldaring' it up but nothing too major.

Some of their minis are listed as being "lead alloy." Interesting, given the day and age in which we live in.

I'm a huge fan of Reaper's mini's in particular their Pathfinder line to support the rpg of the same name, as some of the character mini's for the line are stunning. Here's some of my favourites:

Battle Herald

Cleric of Urgathoa

Some of their minis are listed as being "lead alloy." Interesting, given the day and age in which we live in.

Their entire line of P65 miniatures (65000 number series) are made from a lead based metal. They are heavier, bend easier and ...gasp... cheaper than "white metal" miniatures. They make this line for "adult" hobbists. Those people who know not to swallow their models and who want more bang for their buck...

And of course, they are known to the state of california to cause cancer.... just like McDonald's french fries.

Also if you order £35 or more from their online store you get free shipping. And at certain times of the year they do some neat special offers, like for Halloween they chucked in a goodie bag in with every £35 or more order, which had a few bottles of their Master Series paint, some candy, deck of cards and either a treat (a random mini) or a trick ( a rock!). They had a 12 days of Xmas special deal too, where orders placed on specific days got that days limited edition miniature for free.

A few more of my fave figures, this time from their Chronoscope line:

Bonnie, Futuristic Heroine

Natalia, Female Secret Agent (aka Black Widow from Marvel Comics)

Cobra, Modern Ninja (aka Snake Eyes from GI Joe)

Veronica Blaze, Agent of G.U.A.R.D (aka Black Widow... again)

Thought I'd add some of the latest figures from Reaper that have caught my eye:

Cleric of Calistria
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/60092_p_1_nd.jpg

Akar Nakhal, Pharoah Dragon
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/03593_p_4_mj.jpg

The Horned Hunter
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/60100_p_1_mj.jpg

Nakayama Hayato, Iconic Samurai
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/60083_p_1_mp.jpg

I particularly LOVE the Horned Hunter figure as that has to be the most badass Satyr I've seen.

I think the main issue with the dragon and why it looks weird is the paint scheme. The colors they chose are horrible and don't go together at all. The wings also look like they caked the paint on with a butter knife.

Okay Reaper have certainly got my interest with their latest innovation: Dark Heaven Bones. These are white plastic mini's which are ready to paint right out of the packet (no undercoating needed!) and they are dirt cheap too!

https://www.reapermini.com/miniatures/bones is the link to the info page where you can see the range thus far (small but many more on the way apparently), and they have done a YouTube promo video too, which can be seen here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AVo3hT7wuQ&feature=player_embedded

It will be interesting to see how this range fares. I know I'll be watching it, and likely grabbing a few of those figures at those prices.

I absolutely love Reaper. The first time I became aware of them was at shop in Kingsport Tn. A "Sophie" model. And perusing the shelf I discovered suitable female models I used to create my Inquisitor and her retinue for 40k when the Daemonhunters codex came out. But what the shop had in stock was a miniscule representation of Reaper's selection.

The last batch of models I got was from Reaper. Ordered directly from their site. After I had scoured their entire selection. And once again I ordered only female models to make my 40k dream team squad. I only ordered 11 models But hey, if you want more female models for 40k Reaper is your best bet. GW has what...4 different female models for the Imperial Guard? I also spotted plenty of other nice models both male and female that could easily be converted into 40k. Even some cool nuns which would look great in a SoBs army. Whenever I plan to make more converted models and units I'll be going to Reaper. Even bought another Sophie with that order. Exact same model as the previous but she's topless. And I always wanted to paint some hoohahs!

New plastic "Bones" series! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6AVo3hT7wuQ) I like the looks of this new line.

I started painting about a year and a half ago with Reaper minis. They are generally very well detailed compared to other companies. My painting still isn't as good as I'd like, so apologies if it doesn't properly show how awesome they are.

My first forays into painting:

Mouslings. Freaking awesome. Get some. They're fun to paint, and the ladies love 'em. ;)

New release coming in May that I am definately getting:

Nadezhda the White, Ice Witch
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/14647_g_1.jpg

Reckon she'd make for a great looking Kislevite sorceress.

Also these coming out too, not fantasy but pretty funny:

Alien Exotic Dancers!
http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/50270_p_1_mj.jpg

The one on the left is a Grey, the one on the right is an Illyrian apparently (they have several others of this race as figures) and I'm guessing the one in the middle is from that green skinned race from Star Trek.

I like Reaper. I already have multiple elf figs from them in my Wood Elf Mordheim band - but this is probably my favorite new release: the new Shalelu (https://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/elf/latest/60099). Angelica Fairweather

ReaperCon Sophie 2012

Also yes I have to agree with Dyrnwyn that the new version of Shalelu Andosana is a huge improvement on the previous sculpt and really does the character justice. I'm playing in a Jade Regent Pathfinder RPG campaign on Monday nights and she features quite strongly in that (and is a total badass in it).

The bones minis are great and have been selling very well for us, but the limitation is that the only minis available are those that are available already in plastic as a part of the Asylum pre-painted line. Granted, these are also top sellers, there isn't much in the way of new stuff coming out from the Asylum line. They've put out two in the past 6 months, both of which were dinosaurs. If they are tied togehter, in that bones can only be made using ones that are already in plastic, then they need to get crack-alackin' on getting some new plastics done. (for those that don't know the Asylum line, it's a series of older sculpts that have been popular enough to warrant the expense of translation into molds for plastic, and then are pre-painted, as an alternative to metal minis for those players that don't like/want to paint their own minis).

I lived in California for 4 years. You rapidly learn that everything you do causes cancer or birth defects or spontaneously causes ants to mutate into giant specimens which proceed to go on a rampage and build nests inside of LA's storm water drainage system.

I actually think that many Reaper minis are far superior to GW's work. Reaper minis tend to have much more dynamic poses, even if the details aren't quite as fine. For example, let me introduce you to the man who will be portraying my next D&D character:

http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/03372_w_1.jpg

I mean, come on. Look at that. Badass.

Anyway, Reaper is also doing some downright revolutionary things. Check out their "bones" lines. Plastic-resin hybrids, ready to paint without priming, with all the strength of plastic, the weight of resin, and none of the brittleness, at $3.00 a pop. Put that in your finecast pipe and watch it melt when you try to smoke it.

And this one is for their Warlord line:

Bladesinger Sister

Aglanda, Herald of Razmir

http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/60136_p_1_mj.jpg

The church of Razmir are some of my very favourite villains from the Pathfinder campaign setting of Golarion. Razmir is the ruler of the nation of Razmiran and is worshiped as the Living God by his followers. He is not however a god, a merely a very powerful wizard and this is known only to a very few of his inner circle. His followers all wear identical robes and masks, thus they are very hard to tell apart, and while most are merely thugs and warriors, some are very powerful sorcerors in their own right. The people of Razmiran are thus accustomed to obeying the orders of any of these "priests" for fear of offending one of the really powerful ones. Many of them practise a form of spellcasting/magic item use that mimics true divine magic to further the deceit that Razmir is actually a god.

They are great villains and this figure is a wonderful representation of one of them. I'll be getting a few of this one!

I know I wish I had pledged for 2-3 of the cases... especially after my absurd Kingdom Death pledge that will increase my resin/plastic collection even more come November.
