The elemental is nifty, not sure I'll buy it any time soon, I don't use beasts much. Love the standard bearer, no place for it in any of my armies though. Still, nice model, Warhammer Forge has the wight idea.

Ooh that pun was so bad it made me nauseous.

Wight Standard looks lovely. I think I like the elemental, but like you don't know when I'd ever use it. Makes me interested in the future elementals though, for sure.

Oh Eldargal, such a bad pun. You got what you deserved.

The models are great (such a shock, coming from forgeworld); I like the Wight itself a lot more then the standard it carries, but still a great model.

The best thing about the Beast, is that it hints that there could be up to 7 more of these things (one for each common spell domain). I can guess at what some of those might look like.
I like the rules too, they seem balanced enough. They seem incomplete though, like who can take it and what slot it falls into; probably a bound creature for SoM, requiring a mage with the right spell lore.

What I'd really like is if they made a wizard for lore of Beasts to go with said elemental!

The Wight's got the pleasing standard of quality we've all come to associate with Forgeworld, but damn does that Beasts Elemental ever rule. It's weird and a little creepy in a way we don't often see from GW anymore.

The standard bearer looks really nice, and the elemental would be a cool idea if you wanted to theme an army along one line of magic, considering the rules all but confirm there will be one for at least each of the 8 main lore's. Not sure if I would use an elemental but I think it could certainly work with a heavily converted force to look really nice, or just add to SoM game, I don't think the rules are too unbalanced, it's basically a dragon with different abilities.
