Cover artwork from the upcoming Horus Heresy Primarchs Anthology.
http://www.blacklibrary.com/Images/BL/blog/2011/10/primarchs%20big.JPG
I count 9, and my guesses are from left to right:
Sanguinius
Mortarion
Magnus
Perturabo?
Kahn
?
Fulgrim?
Horus
Curze?
More info on the book http://www.blacklibrary.com/Blog/Family-get-togethers.html Glad to see Ferrus and Kurze getting more info, not sure that the Lion and the Pheoncian need more fleshing out given that they have laready had at least one book each.

i would say the one on the right is the emperors children primarch.

You could be right there. I reckon the two either side of Horus are Fulgrim and Curze, I'm just not sure which is which.

The one on the far right is Fulgrim of the Emperors Children (the only legion that got the right to fully display the Imperial Eagle; plus his armour is purple...)

I think it's (from left to right);
Sanguinius
Mortarion
Magnus
Curze
Khan
Either Perturabo or Ferrus Manus
Dorn
Horus
Fulgrim
It's difficult to tell with the one I think is Perturabo or Ferrus Manus as there aren't really any distinguishing features or really noticable markings on the armour.

I'm guessing this is the Triumph at Ullanor. There were 9 Primarchs present: Horus, Dorn, Angron, Fulgrim, Lorgar, Mortarion, Sanguinius, Magnus, the Khan (see Horus Rising, p.333)
So left-right I'd go for:
1. Sanguinius (or Lorgar? But that seems unlikely)
2. Mortarion (obviously)
3. Magnus (obviously)
4. Angron (look at his face in this close-up http://www.blacklibrary.com/Images/BL/blog/2011/10/marching%20big.JPG - he looks totally mad!)
5. The Khan (obviously)
6. Dorn (possible? Or he could be Angron, the white armour would make sense. But 4 is way too mad to be Dorn?)
7. Lorgar (he's dressed in gold, as the Aurelian? Or he could be Dorn, hence the Fist?)
8. Horus (obviously)
9. Fulgrim (cos of the purple armour)

Which ever ones are which that is a truely fantastic piece of artwork

Could number 4 be Konrad ? the dark armour the semi vampiric look although angron would also make sense.

The Primarchs listed as in attendance at the Triumph of Ullanor were:
FULGRIM
JAGHATAI KHAN
ROGAL DORN
SANGUINIUS
ANGRON
MORTARION
MAGNUS THE RED
HORUS LUPERCAL
LORGAR
So, in order of the image, from left to right we have:
SANGUINIUS
MORTARION
MAGNUS THE RED (same armor as the cover for A Thousand Sons)
ANGRON (neural implants and looking angry)
JAGHATAI KHAN
LORGAR
ROGAL DORN
HORUS LUPERCAL
FULGRIM

Plawolf has it right.
I won't mention the obvious ones
The Angry one is angron- Anger+ Neural implants+ Chains (former gladiator+ chains are common on world eaters)
Lorgrar is covered in scrolls and purity seals- At that stage the imperium is atheist so such things are rare(none of hte other primarchs have them in the picture). Lorgrar is a naughty boy in so worshipping the emperor. Word bearers are reknowned for wearing impurity seals and covering themselves in religous writings.
Dorn- is wearing his trademark golden armour- look at the official picture of him http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Rogal_Dorn#.TpNqT9TP5ZE- almost identical., Also that is one big fist.

I always pictured Angron to be much bigger and formidable than the 4th primarch suggests, A real hulking beast of a primarch. I don't see it this depiction. Im not saying its not, its just not how I envisaged him to be.

Admittedly I haven't read anything from the Heresy novels but what's with the fumes coming from Mortarion (or what looks like him)?
I'd hate to be the guy standing next to him! :-D
Mortarion came form a particularly poisonous world and never quite got used to the idea of not inhaling fumes from his home, it was considered an honor to be invited after battles to share some of his poisons for the death guard. Hence why he is surrounded by fumes.

Fulgrim looks a bit like an elf in that art.

Well it solves the 'is sanguinius blonde or dark haired' debate. Not a big fan of the art though, it sells the 'revered primarchs' thing but I find it a bit, I'm not really sure, crude? Hm.
Edit: No not crude, unsinpired. It seems a bit dull. l

Ah, of course. And his armour is grey because it's pre-Heresy Word Bearers. Duh, don't know how I missed that! Although I did always picture Lorgar having hair. Oh well.

From what I know, Angron is one of the smaller of the primarchs; he's a bit like Wolverine in that he's short and thick, and more hunched over, but with lots of anger and hate festering inside. BTW.... The depiction of the World Eaters in The Outcast Dead is interesting, to say the least. It seems that not all of the World Eaters are bloodthirsty monsters.

That clears that up then. So what do people think of the choice of Primarchs for the stories?

I'm simply hoping they do a Primarch Anthology part 2 with the other side of that picture :)

There isn't another side to the picture...
It's a depiction of the Triumph on Ullanor - during which, as has been said before, only those primarchs shown were in attendance, along with the Emperor.
The rest were too busy crusading to show up.

According to 'Galaxy in Flames' Angron is equal in size to Horus. Also, where are Lorgar's tattoos of script over is head?

So seems the 4 Primarchs will be depicted in a novel each one of their own?

And now I know :) cheers mate. Indeed the depiction of the World Eaters in the book is really interesting and adds a lot of depth too their assumed berserk identity. Dare I said it they come across rather noble at times.
However following David5ths link (thanks matey) I saw this other picture of Angron, after reading the HH books this fits MY personal picture of him much better.

Was he? Been so long since I've read Galaxy in Flames....
I imagine that perhaps at Ullanor Lorgar wasn't such a zealot... I dunno. I swear in First Heretic his skin is also nearly a golden color? Is that right?
@Kawasuo --- Yes, I'm very aware. I was being optimistically facetious. Really, I'd just love to hear some more about Kurze, Peturabo, the Twins, and Vulkan, as we've gotten so little about them. I'd include Corax, but I'm operating under the assumption that we'll see plenty of him in Deliverance Lost.

Perspective combined with the fact that Horus is the only one in Terminator Armour may play a part here.

Yeah, the comment about "if Angron has really turned I'll cut him down myself" really threw me for a loop.

As they told you, there´s no other side of the pic, but I hope also like you they make a book for each Primarch
