The name of the Kabal may change but I kind of like the sound of it even if it does sound like a meeting of angry Daily Mail readers.
Learning how to paint again, mistakes and oooh that looks quite good now.
I had in my head a plan. The colour scheme was going to be Liche Purple , black and bone. Just those colours. Stick to the plan Jonny stick to the plan.
So I pick up my fist model and paint it with Hormagaunt purple just to see what its like. As Im painting it Im already thinking jesus this it horrible , its too light!!
So I finish the purple bits anyway and pick up the next model, Stick to the plan Jonny. I paint it Liche purple. Oh no its not right either.
Im depressed.
I pick up the first too light model and start messing about with leviathan purple wash.After 3 washes Im actually starting to like it a lot. In fact yes! this is it this is what I wanted all along!!!
Probably.
Now I start noticing things about the models, that I never paid much attention to before, like the fact theres an undersuit and that could be a diferent colour yeah thats what I`ll do. So black or a light colour.
Now I cant decide. I try one half black the other light.
I like them both maybe I could keep the split scheme for the undersuit?
Then a flash of desperation I can do it all!!! Thats how I`ll diferentiate between squads! God Im good, one squad will have light one will have dark and the other will have the split scheme.
Finally a decision has been made
Now what colour will I paint the skin........
The one on the left is just liche purple hard to tell theres any colour on it at all tbh. The right is a much more final hormagaunt purple with a lot of leviathan purple washes and some highlights with hormagaunt purple/white mix.

Comments and feedback about my dodgy undersuit ideas are appreciated cos Im not 100% convinced yet its the right thing to do.
