My new goal

I have come to a conclusion ...
I want to play everyone. I don't mean everyone but all the big names in our gaming world.
Goatboy, Jawaballs, everyone from team America 2010 and '11 and so on etc etc.

Now noticed I said play. Not beat,trounce or pummel. Just play a game. I don't think I am better then anyone but I know I am good. I have won a few tournaments, had a golden ticket and placed in 'Ard Boyz.

BUT

I need to get better I need to win more games and grow as a general and tactician. So I am writing a (ever growing) list of "tournament" and "celebrity" players so I can test my mettle against them.

My goal is to be on team America in 2012. Also to play in every large gathering of 40k minds and smaller ones around my state and other close states (I'm looking at you Texas!)

So I made a blog I would love people to follow me on my goal and I'll also be posting here.

Well Goatboy is a sport and so is jwolfe. i would also recommend tasty taste, nick rose (darkwynn) and Duke. stay away from the drama kings, dash, stelek, etc., they will only teach you to learn to hate the game. jg

Good luck on your quest fella! I've wanted to do the same thing, except I want to play against the cool armies I've seen on the net mainly Isotopes Thousand sons army.

Well I will play anyone once, its their attitude with me that I judge people not the words of others.

I love the nicknames some of these guys have, and wonder if i were given a nickname what would it be? probably something like frilly princess or something like that, but i can blame my fashion style for that one -giggles-

It will be a little bit before I start touring and looking for trouble as school is in full swing.
But for now I will be posting my armies continued lack of paint and basing..... sigh (lol)

Also my list is nearing its 20 man mark and I'm sure it will grow more still.

Last I need to figure out my tournament schedule for the next year and get some travel plans made.

If anyone wants a game as I pass through let me know I would love to talk smack, throw dice and buy you lunch. I like thinking of myself as the Anthony Bourdain of 40K.

hehe, it was just a suggestion, and i really wanna make some gaming oriented lolita outfits so i can wear my style to game shops and not TOTALLY not fit in in a game shop. Maybe some warhammer themed prints on my clothing, or turning some gaming tshirts into some blouse like thigns with lace, i shall do it you see.

Consider the challenge accepted. This was one of the few tournaments I was hoping to attend as Denver is an old stomping ground and I would like to come up for the tournament.

eldargal does as far as im aware, and she rocks (never got to play vs her, just saying that as a person she is awesome.)

Yup, I play, and as far as I know so does Melissia.:) I don't do tournaments anymore, beyond the friendly games club variety, so I can't offer much advice about improving your game.

I'd love to play you if you ever make it to sydney. I know I come off as an *** on the forums every now and then but I'm not really as rough in real life. I've been thinking about doing a "40k pilgrimage" myself would love to spend a week in the UK and the states playing everyone I talk to online.
