I was lucky enough to get to go to PAX this year. Relic Knights was something I'd heard of but not something I knew too much about. Consequently I didn't know how much unseen stuff of theirs was in the cases at PAX, and I didn't know what I should really be looking for. As far as I know neither of the minis in these pics have hit the web yet, so I figured I should post them here.

The guy in the front is an unseen mini from the blue faction: the Shattered Sword Paladins. For those of you that don't know the game will have six factions, one for each of the six main colors in the visual spectrum. Blue is all about Paladin-y holy type stuff apparently. Reds appear to be evil, or evil-ish. Orange are apparently chaotic but not necesarily evil. The other colors I don't know.

And in the background here is the first 3-D printout of what appears to be an unreleased mecha. I sure can't match it to any on the soda pop site. I can't help but wonder if it will be for suicide queen since she's standing right in front of it. If only I'd known more about the game at the time I could have asked.

There was also a sculpt for a new relic knight they've previewed art for on their site: Hasami (http://web.sodapopminiatures.com/images/code_picture/238). But sadly when I went back through my photos I saw I'd missed her completely.

Here's a shot of the demo game I did. There's no dice. All the cards are like mana gems and you have to pay color costs to attack or defend. I'm really looking forward to this game coming out.

Agreed about the game mechanics. I played it at GenCon and I really liked the start they had with the rules. I have about 6 of the minis, and I really love them, but they are some of the hardest to assemble miniatures I've ever worked with. Definitely not for beginners
