Hi all,

Apparently I didn't shake up my can of Testor's Dull Cote. It hazed up when it dried on a metal model. It has a hard gloss varnish underneath. Is there anyway to remove the dull cote layer while keeping hte rest intact, or do i just scrap it and redo?

Thanks,

I have heard that a 50:50 mix of water and rubbing alcohol with remove the frost effect. I have not tried this, so you might want to try it on a test model first. Sorry I couldn't be more help

The best way to get rid of the frosted coat is to put a glossy vanish over the matte varnish, and then re matte varnish it. I have had similar issues and that fixed it like new with out messing with your paint job.
