Hey all. This is my first post on BoLS and i wanted to show some pics of my Iron Knights chapter of Space Marines. Let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is welcome.
Here is my Space Hulk Librarian. I have to clean up the lines and finish his face. I need some tips on painting force weapons cause i hate how i did the ax.

I have to take new pictures of some models because i finished alot of them and based them.
For example; Here is a pic of my sternguard vets. This pick is old and i finished the bases so i'll take new pics.

a good start!i like the blue on the libby!
for force weapons blending is crucial there are a few ways but the 2 most basic are
1) paint, highlight, then a wash and apply gloss varnish (very basic)
2) take black and mix it with your colour until you have a very dark version of that coulour , then thin with water and apply to the blade, then add a little of the colour and paint the blade again, leaving a thin strip of the previous layer, keep on repeating this until it is only the start colour, if you have space left add some white!

some people do fancy lightning and the like, but you need a ridiculosly stead hand, and a lot of patience :P
i hope ive helped!

Thanks for the advice! I like the second one a lot so i'm gonna try that. The lightning was a problem for me, but i'm going to try to blend it back to the ax color. oh and I'm very good friends with washes. I used them on this model.

Here is my one drop pod. I need more! Two of the doors warped in the sun! I was sad.

Here is my Vanguard Vet squad. I'm going to rip their arms off and magnetize to make a assault squad.
