Well, this list won't win any long range fights.
I think I suggested earlier that lysander should go with a tactical squad. The will benefit most from both a TH and Bolter drill.
This means giving one squad a pod.
Overall, though, I think a better combination is Calgar and vulkan. Stick vulkan with Terminators, and Calgar with a tactical squad in a razorback. You still have advantages of a 4wound eternal warrior, but the flexibility of power armor. Oh, and lightning claws, because Calgar has a power weapon+ his reroll ability. On top of that, his squad is immune to morale. It makes a great offensive objective stealer, and squad hunter.
Here's another thing. You could eqasily free up the point from the command squad. Upgrade a rhino to a razorback, and have points left over for either a thunder fire cannon, or predator.

yea i definitely see your points on calgar, i really don't think lysander would be better in a tac squad over a sternguard squad....bolter drill is just so good with them. And on a side note, everybody on the board is immune to moral, including the enemy, if they have combat tactics.

The sternguard are only 5 guys. They are a high priority target, already. Killing 5 guys and Lysander is easy. Killing 10 guys and Lysander requires effort. Lysander will bonk some heads in the process.
If you keep him with sternguard, you should bump them to 10 marines.
As someone who is not a fan of Drop Pod suicide sternguard, I eat them for lunch. Doesn't matter if I am playing Space Marines, Blood Angels, or Tyranids, a 5 man sternguard + Lysander does not survive the round they come in.
2 easy kill points, and they knock out 400 points of your army for little effort.

I would question the decision to run stormbolters on the command squad? What's the reasoning?
Terminators should be all thunderhammer/stormshield, more so with vulcan.
Why run a Ironclad over a standard dreadnaught? The increased AV is sorta negated by the fact that it operates within melta range most of the time?
Tactical squads are ok, meltabombs are most likely not needed, multi-meltas would be good.
Having an even number of drop pods is somewhat awkward, either gain another or drop one for a rhino? Sort of an odd army composition, how have you been faring w test games?

Ironclads do quite well with their armor 13. If you charge into a squad, unless they have a powerfist, most units cannot hurt them in CC.

Dreadnoughts in general do quite well in close combat already though and already are very limited in what can kill them there, and since you're exposed for a turn after deepstriking you are exposed to melta? I donnu but it just seems an extra unneeded extravagance?

The close range firepower of an ironclad can more than make up for its loss if it gets melted on the drop.
Also, dread weakness has always been Melta. If you are not trying to get into close combat you are doing it wrong, unless you are using a Hellfire or Mortis variant.
a few years ago, at 'Ard Boyz, my MVP was my Ironclad.

5 test games so far, 2 major wins, 1 minor win, 1 minor loss, 1 minor loss, 1 major loss ( i dropped a drop pod 11 inches off the table and rolled a 1 for mishap, killed 9 sterns, vulkan, lysander, i conceded at turn 3, lol. )
The 3 drop pods, was thinkin a good idea, i kinda DONT have 3 drop pods, so... that's a major thing being a poor university student, harsh times lol, most of my casual games i could proxy, so its deff under the radar for testing.
The terminators act as a kill squad, and i REALLLY.. REALLLLLLLY dont like I1 weapons, i have a bad experience with them. so i run the 2 hammers for 1, vulkan makes them master crafted, and 2, to allocate wounds such as insta deaths, etc.
and Ironclads are... beast, 13,13,10, Move thru cover, melta, heavy flamer, 2CCW.... whats not to love about them? much much better than standard dread imo.
