Hey people! This has always been one of my favorite Forge World models. I don't know why the heck I hadn't bought one before now. I tried some new techniques with this one and I think I am very pleased. I don't have a base yet, got one on order from Dragonforge though. I will post some new pics when I get the Hellfires on and the base finished. And Duh....I am glad I posted these pics, I didn't realize that I hadn't clear coated the cockpit canopy. That's why the colors are so bright as compared to the rest of it.

Niiiicccceeee. Fade that looks fantastic. I get the impression of a dirty blue-green metallic finish. Wish I had a third your skill, hats of to you sir.

Bear in mind, from good old WWII, that the ground crew highly clean and polish the aircraft as soon as it lands - this can squeeze out an extra few knots and make all the difference!

So you can over-dirty the plane in a master-class stylee in the same way that you can probably never do too much on the tanks.

On balance, i think you spot on at the moment.

Love it! (though it does make me wish mine was better :() Personnally I'd say leave the cockpit as it is! Makes for a brilliant focal point of the model, something most folks miss out on tanks and other large kits like this.

Looking forward to the base and hell strikes. Assuming they also get done with you usual uncompromising skill, it'll be an absolutely stunning model

Fade_74, this looks great and as far as the canopy goes it looks like it was repaired in the field from a different acft that will not fly again and did not have time to match paint colors to the second acft. Great job.

Awesome, awesome! It makes me think of a Messerschmitt, in which case some yellow on the nose would have made it super special but really it needs nothing at all.

Actually, I think the canopy is perfect. It has a nice contrasting color that draws your eye to the center of the plane.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! I got the missiles painted and attached yesterday, so I am just waiting on the base to finish it up. Here is the one I picked out.
