You can get pretty decent draigowing for those points, and still have a few extra points for those apos to spare ;)

I don't have great knowledge of Apocalypse games, nor imperial armour books, but is there any, that contains some cool (or any for that matter) stuff for grey knights themselves (not meaning inquisition stuff, Hex etc.)?

Anyway, I bet it would be humbling experience to see 1mil points worth of 40k armies on one (huge i bet) table! Shame that it seems that i will not personally ever be in a situation where i could get to see such a huge gathering of armies

I also wonder how much would the Istvaan V scenario with all the legions etc hold in points if ever it would be played 1:1 ratio of models (meaning tens of thousands of marines alone in the table, plus all the artillery and tanks and stuff)

There's a Forge World datasheet that you can download from their website that updates the rules for the Lok and Rex and that also allows you to put psycannons on dreadnoughts, vehicles and Thunderhawks. Other than that, no not really.

A few notes:

1) When you have 800,000+ points on the board, you have different goals than when you play a nice small, 60,000 point per side game. The spectacle and the group fun is what is important. We had 80+ gamers and it was a blast.

2) The tables were set up width wise and this year we are setting them up length wise, playing across 8'. So you will have more room to maneuver. Still, there will have to be about 40,000 points per table!

3) The biggest army was about 80,000 points. Last year I brought 65,000 points, but I gave two of my armies to others to play. We think one person can really manage no more than 20,000 points.

4) A lot of the fun was having different locations. We had 22 locations world wide, including all 4 US Battle Bunkers and game stores and clubs in 5 different countries.
