No Necron plastic on the shelves at all? I'd be surprised if all of them gets replaced. Some are still viable after all. Just curious :)

Either way, I'm looking forward to some cool Necrons showing up:)

I was told they were not pumping out any Necrons at Memphis.

Usually when they release an update to a model line they will pull existing products for repackaging purposes. Also, I don't think the warriors are receiving an updated model but most rumors indicate different colored rods being included within the warrior boxes.

They will most likely repackage the Monolith too

fcol I hope this is false. Orges got made really powerful in new rules. An army Like Brets needs to be released, They actually need to be made viable.

The rumours are that after OK, either Bret's or WE will get an update (as they both took a beating under the new rules), probably Q1 2012. I suspect OK are being done to revitalise the range, Dark Eldar style, and to bring their magic more in line with standard magic, as they did with TK (the fact they had to put a box in WD to explain how OK magic works in Storm of Magic tells me they need to standardise it).

Wildey,

I agree with that they need to standardize it and Tyrant needs a LD bump. and more plastics so I would say look for Plastic Scrappa and Rhinox riders as everyone is getting monstrous Cavalry

Also, if you look on the storm of magic cards, on the ogre cards it says the lore attribute is blood gruel. thats something new. it doesnt say what blood gruel is or what is does, but its there. so ogres are coming up very soon!

Actually OK got brought back into line with the new rules, not a huge power bump. They're still not as competitive as they should be and need some work. Of course there's a whole list of armies that need work, especially for the new edition, but that's what we get with the 3-4 army books a year/new edition every 4 years model.

I'm personally looking forward to an OK book. I've got a huge army sitting on the shelves that I haven't played in a couple of years.

I would very much like to see wood elves get a new army book within the next year as I would like to start them as my second army in fantasy and the idea that they may get a new book shortly is enough to hold me off getting into them immediately. Which is good because I have a mountain of unbuilt models for my blood angels, guard and lizardmen which really deserve some attention before I start looking at yet another army.
