Mirror Match WYSIWYG question

Does everything have to be WSYIWYG?

The reason I ask is that everyone is playing the same list, so everyone knows that all terminators are equipped with thunder hammers and storm shields, the leader is Sicarious, and that all of the scouts have sniper rifles, etc.

Also is there a paint standard?

I have a contestant who is playing with Orks. WYSIWYG for Mirror Match is only to the extent needed to limit confusion. All Terminators are the same, sub a captain, use combat blade scouts. It's hard to do it wrong, and if you do, we'll have subs.

Painted armies always roll better, but I'm not requiring paint.
