If Anyone has any real life pictures that look 40k like please post them here

I saw this one which got me thinking if anyone else has any similar

(PS mods I'm not totally sure if this is the right area, but it is a mostly image based thread so I thought I'd stick it here)

I like that picture grailkeeper, and would also like to see more stuff like that. I always loved the faked pictures in Imperial armour too. I screwed around with photoshop and never could pics to look like theirs though.

Are you saying that any picture where people are wearing WWI gas masks is like 40K because of the Death Korps of Krieg? Looks like Terra circa late M2 in an area called Japan to me.

Take a look at this guy's work then. He makes art that oozes 40K

Yes, you people in Europe do the fusion of Medieval/Gothic/Renaissance/etc. with sci-fi very well because of your environment. We here in the States, especially the West Coast where there aren't many historical buildings due to its late settlement, population growth, and building codes due to seismic activity, are denied such inspiration.

Instead we have to go to the beach and look at the beautiful women. lol

LOL, true that... Most Americans consider anything older than 200 years to be 'ancient', while over here we use that term for matters older than 2 millennia. :D

Two years ago I had a chat with that artist as he had a small stand at a convention and was selling prints. Friendly chap. He told me that he actually hears it quite a lot, that his artwork is very 40k'ish, but that he never intended it to be like it. It's just very coincidental that his dark steampunk seems so 40k'ish. :)
